Enquiry - How does the past shape the future?

This term we have a history driver subject. In Autumn 1 we are learning all about toys from the past and developing a greater understanding of the past. We now know the months of the year and understand a year, decade and century. This will help us when exploring toys from the past, and help us to see that our grandparents had different experiences to us! During our D&T lessons we will be creating a moving toy car. 

In Autumn 2 we will be learning about Queen Victoria. We will develop an understanding of life during her reign, the changes she made and how she left a legacy. This will form a foundation for our learning in year 2 about Queen Elizabeth II.
